Who is running this website
Hi, I’m a hobby miner from Sweden in my 50s. I live alone, work a regular job, and spend my free time exploring the world of crypto for fun. My mining journey started totally by chance. After buying some Ethereum when it was at a low price, I got curious about what it takes to actually mine coins. What started as a simple experiment quickly turned into a small hobby I really enjoy.
Most of my mining is what I like to call lottery mining. I run USB rigs off my computer and a USB hub, focusing mostly on Bitcoin. It’s small-scale and experimental, and it’s bit of a gamble. That unpredictability is part of the fun. I enjoy the challenge of slowly building up my machines, testing setups, and seeing what results I can get. It’s not about making a fortune; it’s about learning, experimenting, and having fun along the way.
I created this website and my Twitter account to share my journey. Even if my mining setup is modest, I like logging my experiments, successes, failures, and lessons learned. I hope that by sharing my experiences, others might find something interesting, relatable, or even inspiring in the process.
Outside of mining, I’m a nature enthusiast. I love hiking, spending time outdoors, and exploring Sweden’s forests. There’s something grounding about being in nature after a day at the computer, tinkering with rigs and checking mining stats.
At the end of the day, this is just a hobby I enjoy. It’s about curiosity, experimentation, and slowly seeing where my small mining adventures can take me. Nothing here is financial advice, just my personal story as a hobby miner navigating the fascinating world of crypto.
